Scholarship Criteria
The Scholarship Foundation provides financial support to junior and senior college students majoring in sales, finance, and marketing at Maryland’s HBCUs.
- Applicant must be a full-time student in his or her junior or senior year enrolled at one of Maryland’s HBCUs.
- Applicant must have an academic major in marketing, sales, finance, or a related course of study.
- Applicant must have an overall grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 based on a 4.0 scale.
How to Apply*

Applicant must submit the following items with his or her application:
- An official college transcript
- Two letters of character reference from persons other than relatives, including one letter each from two:
- College professor and/or administrator
- Employer, church, or community leader
- If never employed, submit an additional letter from one of the other two categories.
- In approximately five hundred words, provide a statement regarding/describing your career plans upon graduation from college.
